Bargo policy
How Bargo ranks options
Bargo separates language understanding from authoritative ordering, so product recommendations remain explainable and testable.
Intent
The AI extracts structured constraints such as category, budget, use case, required features, marketplace, and Prime preference. Deterministic code builds the provider query.
Ranking
Bargo orders deals with deterministic signals such as relevance, feature match, budget fit, current discount, rating quality, review depth, availability, and Prime fit. Missing optional signals are handled conservatively.
Guardrails
- Known over-budget products are excluded.
- Unknown prices are not treated as failures.
- Required-feature misses are penalized.
- Unavailable products receive a strong penalty.
- Review depth uses logarithmic scaling.
- No historical-price claims are made.
